David stands by Kangna

Currently, Kangna Ranaut may be in the eye of a storm because of the not-so-flattering stories about her that are doing rounds, but she does have her own supporters in the industry. And one of them is none other than director David Dhawan. Kangna has recently been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Firstly it was being said that senior actors Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn are not kind to her as they were a couple of years ago, then there were rumours about her throwing a fit when asked to don a bikini in Rascals. Director David was obviously not too pleased with her tantrums. In fact, she created such a big fuss that they had to postpone the shoot for hours.
However, David denies any such incident. “All such stories are absolute rubbish. She did what she was asked to do and the results are there to see in the very first look of the film, which has Kangna walking in a bikini. And to clarify, she didn’t refuse to wear one; she just wanted some time to exercise and become fit to ensure a good screen presence,” he says.
