Delayed by a beard!

It was pegged as the mother of all clashes at the box office when Agneepath and Tezz would coincide at the box office on Republic Day 2012. With both films’ teams not budging on their release dates, industry watchers were waiting

to see who would come out on top in this battle of wills. But now, a strange thing is going to delay Tezz and prevent it from offering Hrithik-starrer Agneepath that much touted competition at the box office: Ajay Devgn’s facial hair!
“Tezz requires only a 10-day shoot to wrap up. But there is a slight hitch. Ajay had to grow a beard for Son of Sardar, whereas in Tezz, his look is clean-shaven. So there is no option but to wait for Son of Sardar to wrap up so that Ajay can get rid of his beard and work on Tezz,” a little birdy tells us.
While this development probably has the Agneepath team rubbing their hand with glee, the Tezz team isn’t making a fuss either. “Such things happen,” says Ratan Jain, the producer. “The film will now release in March.”
