Delhi Belly inspires risque jokes
The success of Delhi Belly despite the racy content of its jokes has come as heartening news for not only its makers, but also for other filmmakers in Bollywood. The film’s success has proven that Bollywood is finally ready to tackle adult content, racy humour and taboo subjects. And fans can expect to see more of the same, starting from Kya Super Kool Hai Hum. The makers, having read the first draft of the script, are planning to infuse more raunchy jokes and up the sexy ante.
“Although it is undecided as to how much will the sex quotient in the film be, many feel it won’t harm the narrative if more naughty content is added to it. The shooting has just begun, and it won't be a challenge to add a few here and there,” says a unit member.
The original film, that released in 2005, was always promoted as a sex comedy, and while it was well received by the youth, there were large sections who felt it was too risqué for family viewing.
