Dia’s ‘under the weather’
Post Hum Tum Aur Ghost, Dia Mirza does not have any films on hand but that does not bother the actress. The former Miss Asia-Pacific refuses to do a film purely for financial benefit, “It’s quality over quantity for me now,” she says, adding, “I want to do things that excite and motivate me, this will in turn make me want to go to work the next day.”
In fact the actress says that she has been turning down offers which have not inspired her, “For the longest time, I’ve been getting offers in films that I didn’t want to be a part of. When you work for nine years you reach a stage when you don’t really want to push the buttons anymore.”
For now the actress is happy interacting with her fans on Twitter and getting a free update about various things from around the world. Dia, who is currently stationed in the US and keeps her fans updated with her life during her free time, says she is enjoying it immensely.
She revealed, “I tried this recently. I woke up at, 5.30 am in New York, I looked out the window, and wrote, ‘Great day in NYC, How is it where you are?’ Believe it or not, I have got great responses from fans about the weather. One of them wrote, “I’m in Spain, and it’s such-and-such weather,’ ‘I’m in Argentina’, ‘I’m in, like, 17 states across America.’ Now I’ve got this global weather check literally in my house,” says Dia.
