Did SRK play dirty with Salman?
Shah Rukh Khan is going through a multi-city promotional drive to launch the theatrical promo of Ra. One, in spite of the film being five months away. And the situation seems even more curious as SRK’s campaign coincides with Salman Khan’s whose Ready prepares to hit the screens this Friday. Commenting on the situation, a source says, “Shah Rukh may argue that he is above such competitive strategies, but it cannot be denied that the arrival of the theatrical promo of Ra. One has threatened to divert attention from Salman’s film, during the peak of its promotions.”
One would wonder if this was really required, as things seemed to have started to cool down between the two. While SRK apologised to Salman on Koffee with Karan, Salman too returned his gesture by wishing him luck for his films. Director Abhinav Sinha, however, rubbishes such speculations. “We had always planned to unveil our promo around this time. Our VFX guys had been working on the final touches on the 90 seconds of Ra. One. Once they were ready, we decided to package it all and show it to the world. It’s very immature on people’s part to think so low. If only all films start working will our industry grow,” he says.
Well, no one knows who’s telling the truth, but audiences are all ears for more such drama off screen.
