Who knew that diplomacy was the numero uno skill required by actors in Bollywood? That’s certainly a lesson Vivek Oberoi has learned the hard way. And he is putting those lessons to good use.
Now Vivek has been pumping iron to get a lean, tough look for his upcoming film Zilla Ghaziabad. And apparently, a brand that he is endorsing wanted him to sport a bare-chested look in an ad film. The ZG makers of course didn’t take too kindly to what they perceived as the brand stealing their thunder.
Just when the representatives of the film and the brand were about to break into fisticuffs (metaphorically), Vivek stepped in to play negotiator. “Vivek requested the makers of the ad to come up with a different concept. He felt the film is a bigger canvas and all the work that he and the ZG makers had put into conceptualising his new look shouldn’t be ‘outed’ by the brand,” our source added. Whew, good save V!
