Dippy averts a wardrobe disaster

A major wardrobe malfunction was averted on the sets of Desi Boyz, all thanks to Deepika Padukone. It seems Brazilian model Bruna Abdulla was wearing a skirt, which was fluttering a little too much. And to make matters worse, Bruna’s dress designer wasn’t present on the sets that day, which meant rectifying the situation wouldn’t have been possible. But then, Deepika stepped in.
“Bruna’s designer wasn’t available for the day, but Dippy suggested that we use her designer,” says an eyewitness. The skirt was rectified, and the shoot went off smoothly, and the entire credit for it goes to the leggy Padukone girl. Wardrobe malfunctions aren’t new to the industry but a star like Deepika coming to a junior actress’s rescue speaks volumes about her personality.
