Dippy doesn’t support SRK

Shah Rukh Khan may have helped her attain a dream debut, but when it comes to the latest controversy surrounding her “mentor”, Deepika Padukone doesn’t have much to say. When asked about the scuffle SRK was recently involved in, Ms Padukone resorted to a cool “no comments”.
“I haven’t really watched too many matches this year,” was how Dippy explained her seeming ignorance over the whole issue, in which SRK allegedly got into a fight with officials at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Perhaps now that she has snapped all ties with former beau and IPL team owner Sidhartha Mallya, Dippy doesn’t feel the need to be as much of a fixture at matches.
Dippy’s neutral stand is hardly likely to escape comment, coming at a time when SRK needs a few vocal supporters in B’town. With two onscreen outings with her mentor in the offing (Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express and possibly, Farah Khan’s next project with SRK), we do think there’s bound to be a wee bit of friction on the sets.
