Dippy keen to work alongside Ranbir

Deepika Padukone’s life is no less dramatic than any of the films she acts in. A high-profile romance with Ranbir Kapoor and an even more high-profile break-up later, they seemed to have moved on with their respective careers and partners. And we thought that was the last we heard of that. But now the couple is working together again, for Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani, and it seems they are having loads of fun while at it!
“She just can’t stop talking about the movie and Ranbir,” says a friend of Dippy’s, adding that the passage of time has led to both Ranbir and Deepika forgetting their past and renewing their professional association. “The fact that the film has been directed by Ayan Mukherjee, a mutual friend, is a big plus for them.”
And while Ranbir has acted in many out and out love stories, it would be a first for Deepika. “I indeed feel like a 16-year-old when I talk about it,” she chirps. “I am really excited about the film, and it’s just the kind of film I have always wanted to do. I am working with a brilliant actor in Ranbir.”
