Dippy’s in love with the audience

Deepika Padukone is on a high with the way things are going on in her career and her glowing skin seems to bear testimony to that. She said at a recent event, “ I am in the happiest phase of my life. It is happiness and love that enables me and my skin to shine like never before.” And what about love? To which Dippy replied, “Yeah, I’m in love with my audience. I am getting an overwhelming response from them. I don’t plan things. But my films falling in place does keep my skin, heart and mind shining.”
So would Deepika describe herself as a mix of beauty and brains? She modestly replied, “Oh! I don’t know if I am intelligent or not. If you say so, I’ll consider myself privileged. But yes, I must say that I never think from my mind. My heart rules my mind and many times I have fallen flat on my face because of the decisions I have taken. My friends too advise me to keep my heart under the control of my mind.”
When complimented on her style statement she said, “I must credit people who work hard behind the scenes in my films. Sometimes I like to adhere to a certain style statement but then my stylist takes me out my comfort zone and I really enjoy that. The half sari I wore in Chennai Express made a homely and yet a contemporary style statement.”
