Dippy’s shuttled between sports

We know badminton’s in her genes, but Deepika Padukone would do well to remember that everyone may not share her love for the sport. A little birdy tells us that while working on the London sets of Rahul Dhawan’s Desi Boyz, Dippy would go out of her way to popularise badminton among the cast and crew.
But her efforts to get co-stars Akshay Kumar and John Abraham involved had an interesting consequence. Our source says, “The boys were not too happy about it because it impinged on their workout sessions and leisure time. So they gave Dippy a taste of her own medicine."
Dippy has since been cajoled into playing impromptu games of cricket. “Earlier it was a badminton court, now it is a cricket pitch that the set is beginning to resemble,” our source adds.
