Dippy wants to team up

It is no secret that every actress worth her name in Bollywood would love to work with Salman Khan at some point in her career. And the latest one to join the fray is Deepika Padukone. The actress publicly admitted to her desire to team up with Dabanng Khan as she felt that they would make a great pair on screen.

“Like me, Salman is extremely romantic. I think we can pull off a hardcore romantic film,” she said at a recent event.
Now it might seem like a candid comment to most of us, but close associates of the actress believe it is more than that. It is probably her way of striking back at Katrina Kaif, who is her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor’s current ladylove and also Salman’s ex-flame. “Katrina and Salman may not have been a couple officially, but the former has maintained cordial relations with his family and worked with him on several occasions. None of the actresses have been able to make that connection with Salman. Clearly, Katrina is not very happy with rival actresses clamouring to replace her,” says a source.
You can’t blame us if we wonder whether Dippy’s intentions here were purely professional, can you?
