Is Don 2 mired in a legal wrangle?

The last think Shah Rukh Khan needed after the below-par performance of his Ra.One was for his next film Don 2 to get mired in a controversy. But a controversy is exactly what Don 2 faces, and there seems to be no way out. Apparently, the makers of the original Don expected Farhan Akhtar and co. to take their prior permission. And since that didn’t happen, expect some trouble.
SRK though is adamant they have done nothing wrong. “We did take their permission when we were making Don. But Don 2 is a new subject. It has nothing to do with any other film that has been made before. So, there is no point making an issue out of it,” he says.
Having said that though, SRK hastens to add there isn’t any legal repercussions to the issue. “I wish people would stop using strong words like ‘legal’ so loosely. It was just a discussion with two sets of people,” he adds.
