Ek kamre mein bandh King Khan

Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently shooting for Yash Chopra’s untitled romance in Gulmarg, Kashmir, seems to be reliving the golden era of Hindi cinema. In a curious coincidence of sorts the actor has been put up in the same hotel where the cult track, Hum Tum Ek Kamre Mein Bandh Ho from the film Bobby, was shot.

On Tuesday afternoon Shah Rukh expressed his emotions on the microblogging site Twitter. He wrote, “I am staying in the same room where ‘hum tum ek kamre mein band ho’ was shot in Bobby. Feels sweet…now just to try to lose the keys.” The hut, where the song was shot, is part of Hotel Highlands Park, which is SRK’s halt in Gulmarg. Adding to the real life drama, SRK actually ended up bringing in Rishi Kapoor’s birthday (September 4) the night he stayed in the room.
Truth can indeed be stranger than fiction!
