Emraan to get costlier still

Let’s admit it, we were surprised to see Emraan Hashmi’s near continuous rise to stardom. From being a one-trick pony — or a many-kisses pony — he’s today a serious A-list Bollywood star in his own right. And to announce his arrival, he has done what he should have done a long time ago: Hike his fees.
The actor, who had restricted himself to small budget films, will now sign more mainstream blockbusters. “With success, comes the responsibility of sustaining it. I have worked hard and I deserve all the accolades,” he says confidently. “I’ve increased my remuneration. I’m not comfortable discussing the amount, but whatever the figure is, I feel I deserve it.”
