Emraan won’t copy Hrithik

Emraan Hashmi, who plays a magician in his next film Ek Tha Daayan, says that he has not taken any inspiration from Hrithik Roshan’s act in Guzaarish.

Though the film bombed at the box office, Hrithik’s flawless performance managed to strike a chord and set a new standard in the industry. But Emraan wants to explore the possibilities with an open mind. Says a source attached to his film, “One can’t expect him to repeat what Hrithik has done already. That kind of personality and look won’t suit him either as they are two very different actors. So Emraan has developed a body language of his own and even his costumes have been designed keeping his image in mind.”
Contrary to rumours, Emraan’s character is not on the lines of the famous magician P.C. Sorcar. “He is on a hunt for a daayan and being a magician is only one part of his character,” the source adds.
