Taking a leaf out of Karan Johar’s book, the Bhatts too are now “grooming” a stable of directors. With names including Mohit Suri, Vikram Bhatt et al, they now have a talent pool of filmmakers ready to helm any projects for their production house. Smart strategy? Certainly. But the appearance on the scene of Bhatt scion Vishesh may just shake things up a little bit.
“Vishesh is all set to direct a film, and an official announcement will soon be made by Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt regarding the film’s title and cast,” a source from the production house revealed. The question now is how the other in-house directors will react.
“For the Bhatts of course, it is a win-win situation since they now have at least four directors on standby. Mohit, Vikram et al have proved their worth, but Vishesh will have to go an extra mile to justify the hype around him,” our source added.
Vishesh’s training is through and he is now raring to go, says Mukesh Bhatt, adding, “The field is wide open for him to take up the challenge.” These should be interesting times indeed!
