Farah torn between SRK and Shirish

We don’t know if Shirish Kunder had seen it coming, but the debacle of Joker and his ouster from Kick have pretty much caused people to write him off. But hard times are not done with him yet. Fresh rumours indicate that Farah Khan’s next directorial venture, Happy New Year, with Shah Rukh Khan has gone into trouble and all because of Shirish that too.

Buzz is that the makers have asked Farah to replace Shirish with a more reliable technician. This has obviously put Farah in a sticky spot as she is now torn between a personal and a professional call.
The doting wife however is dismissive of such talks. When quizzed about this, Farah said, “I think we have dealt with the Joker and Kick issue in a very dignified manner. To begin with, Shirish opted out of Kick two weeks prior to the release of Joker. So that should put speculations to rest.” As far as Joker is concerned, Farah chooses to reserve her comments on what exactly has soured her relations with Akshay Kumar. She says, “I tried my best to promote Joker. Why Akshay didn’t promote it, is a question only he can answer.” We ask her if her next film with SRK is in troubled waters and she says, “Happy New Year will go on the floors in January next year. Any controversy related to this is a figment of people’s imagination.”
