Like father like daughter

Sonam Kapoor is in no hurry. Even though her contemporaries like Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Sonakshi Sinha are signing films by the dozens, she is taking it easy. With only one film in the pipeline as leading lady and a guest appearance in another, Sonam is not one to join the rat race. Much like her father Anil Kapoor, who has always been choosy about his films.
“Honestly, the path I have chosen for myself comes from dad. But there is no game plan behind that. I just do things according to my comfort levels,” says Sonam.
And Anil continues to play the doting dad. “In spite of being so young, Sonam has the confidence to reject projects. I think she is being way more choosy than I have ever been,” he laughs.
We only hope the choosiness pays off.
