Feeling at home

Saif Ali Khan loves the adage “home away home”. The actor who has been shooting extensively in Lucknow for his film Bullet Raja has transformed his hotel suite to live up to his taste in every way. The actor has collected a number of items during his stay in the regal city and most notable among them is an expensive carpet.

“Not just that. He has also ensured that the electronic items in the room are replaced with those of his choice. He has purchased a state-of-the-art music system and DVD player apart from a good collection of whisky and books,” says a crewmember.
“Since I almost moved to Lucknow, it was necessary that I arrange it all. All of these things are now going back with me to Mumbai,” says Saif with a smile. Quiz him if he is as interested in household shopping with wifey Kareena and he says, “Nah. Boring and regular kind of stuff doesn’t interest me. I like to pick and choose from good works of art though. My personal favourites include nice glasses and carpets. I like to collect them from all over.”
