These days you don’t ever get to sit next to anyone exciting on flights because all the cool and happening ones are flying private. Even at traffic lights, there’s an uninteresting person in the car next to you, ’cos if you are rocking you don’t want to be grounded. Seriously, everyone’s either using a plane or a chopper to ferry them around.

In Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan started the trend of jet setting to shoots out of Mumbai when he was shooting for Jodha Akbar. He wanted to spend every bit of time with his wife and kids — yes, that was before he discovered Barbara Mori. Now it is Akshay Kumar’s turn to do the same. He is jetting down to Malshej Ghats, near Mumbai, to shoot for Tees Maar Khan.
Making a grand appearance has its advantages people. As soon as Akki gets ready to land, the entire unit simply stops whatever they are doing and gets ready with his shot the minute they get information that he is on his way. All else can wait. Farah Khan is taking no chances with Akshay’s precious time and his friendship.
