A Game of musical chairs

Everybody knows that when Aishwarya Rai couldn’t work with Abhishek Bachchan in Game due to date issues, Kangana Ranaut came in as a quick replacement. However, what’s not known is that the makers of this suspense thriller were in talks with Kangana right from the start, as they required two leading ladies.
An industry insider says, “There are two important female protagonists in Game — one is a mysterious young woman and the other is an investigating officer. When Aishwarya was offered the film, there was uncertainty about which role she would play.” Between Ash and director Abhinay Deo, there were several discussions, but nothing was finalised. Meanwhile, Kangana had already been approached for the film. “While the game of musical chairs was on, Ash had to leave due to date issues and Kangana was taken on board. Ultimately it was Sarah Jane Dias who was finalised to play the part of the mysterious woman,” informs a source.
