Gauri learns Tamil for Sridevi

After getting rave reviews for their first film together, English Vinglish, Sridevi and Gauri Shinde have taken their association forward, this time for an ad film in Tamil. Interestingly, Gauri who is a Maharashtrian wasn’t well versed with the language initially. But she braved the challenge and learned the language to better equip herself to direct the ad.

Sources from the unit say that Sridevi was in full form during the making of the commercial and had the unit in splits with her wicked sense of humour. An insider says, “Gauri and Sridevi have been great friends ever since their English Vinglish days. Even when they are not working together, they meet often in their spare time. They are also in talks of doing another film together. But until that happens, they thought of doing an ad film for now,” says a source close to them.
