Goldie Behl cans film with Prateik

Goldie Behl was pretty excited about his next film which was to be a romantic one starring Prateik Babbar in the lead role. After making two duds in the form of Bus Itna Sa Khwab Hai and Drona, Behl wanted to make a romantic film and had finalised Prateik.
Our sources said, “After making two flops, it was always going to be difficult for Goldie to make a big film. He understood that and wanted to experiment with a romantic film. He was quite impressed with Prateik and wanted to work with him and a newcomer for the female lead. But he found no one to back him. Since the film had no takers, Behl had no option, but to shelve it. He is now concentrating on his next production, which will be a remake of the Hollywood film Bride Wars. Priyanka Chopra will play one of the female leads while the other lead is yet to be finalised. Behl is also keen to produce one more film, which will be directed by Anurag Basu and will star his close friend Abhishek.
