If you haven’t had enough of your favourite YRF films yet, their newest business venture just might help you get a sugary sweet dose. The production behemoth, we hear, has launched a collection of musical greeting cards and these will feature images, dialogues and music from its most successful films.

“Mohabbatein, Veer Zaara, Salaam Namaste, Bunty Aur Babli, Band Baaja Baarat and Meri Brother Ki Dulhan are among the films that musical cards have already been designed around. Plans are also on to convert the card range into a larger line of collectibles, including YRF-themed mugs, tumblers, gift packaging and other gifting related items. These will reflect new and old films from the banner,” said one source connected to the production house.
The “hallmark” of the range is being said to be its 100 per cent authenticity, and the fact that it will be made available globally. While commercially available collectibles for your favourite Bollywood films is a long overdue idea, we’re not entirely sure the musical greeting cards are the best way to promote the banner. When was the last time anyone got a greeting card — and do you really want Madhuri Dixit to stare at you out of one?
