High praise for SRK from Saif

He may have been a part of the movie industry for over two decades, but Saif Ali Khan marches to the beat of his own drummer even today. In fact, Saif is not a blind follower of even the actors he admires. A case in point is how, despite being appreciative of the way Shah Rukh Khan produced and marketed Ra.One, Saif isn’t following the same strategy for Agent Vinod. So the one thing he is avoiding at all costs is talking about how much money has been pumped into the making of his spy thriller.
“Saif thinks it’s better to complete a film within a designated budget and have great returns,” a little birdie tells us. “At the same time, he admires the investment SRK and other actors have pumped into their films.”
All Saif is willing to say on the subject is, “Ra.One was SRK’s vision and he redefined all the rules of moviemaking with it. As the top star in the country, it was SRK’s duty to make the biggest film ever produced, but when it comes to us, we’re just trying to make a good film.”
