A holiday with good friends

Dost ho toh aisa! So you’ve heard that Pankaj Kapur recently gifted his son Shahid a 10-day Europe vacation. The hint was clear — “take a break Shahid!”— and well-timed, considering that the Kapur lad hasn’t had a vacation in a long, long time and that he had taken a huge pay cut to act in his dad’s directorial venture, Mausam.
But what’s a holiday without friends, right? Shahid desperately wanted his kid brother Ishaan to come along, but the plan didn’t materialise. Finally, he asked his gang of buddies, including Ahmed Khan, to accompany him. The icing on the cake: Shahid’s friends didn’t have to spend a single penny.
“Shahid loves spending on his friends. He’s a large-hearted guy,” says his mom Neeliam Azim. Oh, we’d say you are, Shahid!
