There’s a surprise in store for fans and viewers of Housefull 2. There is another superstar appearance in an already power-packed lineup of stars. Karisma Kapoor, who was supposed to make her big screen comeback after a prolonged sabbatical with Vikram Bhatt’s Dangerous Ishq, will actually be seen in Housefull 2 first, her first film role in seven years. It’s only a cameo, however, and the makers are quite tight-lipped about the details of her role in the film.
“Karisma agreed to do the role only because she has always had a wonderful rapport with Sajid Nadiadwala, right from the time they worked together in hit films like Jeet and Judwaa,” says a source close to the producer. “When she was requested to step into an already burgeoning starcast in Housefull 2, she was reluctant, also because she wanted Dangerous Ishq to be her comeback vehicle. But she couldn’t turn Sajid down.”
As for the role itself, the makers and our sources didn’t want to reveal much apart from the fact that it would be a cameo appearance. “But Lolo’s presence will definitely add to the glamour and glitz,” the source adds.
