A houseful of B’town biggies

The Housefull 2 shoot is finally complete — a task that once seemed near insurmountable considering that the film had to accommodate the dates of 22 major B’town actors. With the team returning from Thailand last week (where the final schedule of the film was being shot) the relief among the crew is almost palpable.
“It was a huge logistical challenge to get together the cast and crew of the film and then complete it in record time too,” says a trade analyst. “Housefull 2 has as many as 22 major actors, including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, John Abraham, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty.”
Says producer Sajid Nadiadwala, “Yes, wrapping up the film was a test…but I’d like to think that I have earned a certain amount of goodwill over the decades and it is paying off now.”
