How SRK got PC the invite

Few parties have created as much news and furore as Karan Johar’s 40th birthday bash, and from the guest list to last minute wrangling on the topic of Priyanka Chopra, the party was the absolute talk of the town. So about a week after it was announced that PC would not be attending because she never got an invite, KJo made a complete volte-face and revealed she was always a part of his plan. And even while we were left wondering how this turnaround happened, it appears that Karan’s friend and Priyanka’s special friend, Shah Rukh Khan, may have been instrumental in working this.
“On Tuesday night, SRK insisted that Karan should bury the hatchet with Priyanka,” says our source. “In fact, Shah Rukh said Karan must personally call her for the party. And what Shah Rukh wants, Shah Rukh gets.”
Priyanka, meanwhile, had said she would be in the US, attending her brother’s graduation ceremony, but she too proved that water could be thicker than blood and dropped everything to be back.
