Hrithik enters `100 crore club
The staggering success of Agneepath has made Hrithik Roshan the youngest entrant to the `100-crore club. The last weekend saw his film scale the elusive figure, adding another feather to his cap, after the massive success of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
A trade analyst observes, “The film is officially a superhit now. And since this week’s release Gali Gali Chor Hai hasn’t done well at all, Agneepath will make the most of an open week available.”
“While Salman leads the pack with three centuries, others like Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have two each. However, 38-year-old Hrithik is the youngest of them all,” the analyst continues.
Now all eyes are on Krrish 3, which is being directed by papa Roshan. Thus far, the father-son duo has had a spotless record. “Let’s not forget that the Krrish franchise has a huge recall value, so don’t be surprised if the Roshans target `200 crores with this one,” adds the analyst.
