Hrithik goes silent for Agneepath

If you are expecting another round of intense conversations involving Vijay Deenanath Chauhan in Karan Johar’s remake of Agneepath then you’re in for a surprise. Because Hrithik Roshan won’t be replicating Amitabh Bachchan’s baritone and swagger in the 2012 version. Instead of a powerful don, we will see him essay the character of a silent underdog.
Undoubtedly, it’s quite daring to turn around the central character. But Karan is confident that the audience will take to the new ‘Vijay’ as well. “This is what makes it all the more exciting, doesn’t it? To have an underdog like him seek revenge from an impossible antagonist (Sanjay Dutt) is what would make the audience clap for him,” says Karan. But doesn’t that risk Hrithik getting overshadowed by Sanjay Dutt? “Hrithik is a brilliant actor. You’ll see the full graph when you would see the entire film,” he adds.
Well, hope this ‘silent’ trick doesn’t fall silent at the box-office too.
