Huma grins and bares it
She might be fairly new to tinsel town but Huma Qureshi certainly understands the importance of maintaining a particular image. The actress, who has acquired a girl-next-door image with films like Gangs of Wasseypur and Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, says that an image change is always welcome.
Not too long ago, Huma’s bare-all pictures for a magazine photo shoot had become the talk of the town. The sudden change made it seem that she was a little too keen to add more colour to her perceived image. But Huma doesn’t agree. She says, “I am aware that I don’t have a perfect body. But I shot for those bold pictures because I am extremely comfortable with my appearance.”
She also denies that the idea to show more skin was done in a bid to get younger roles. “Versatility is all about challenging yourself. I don’t have to be a Katrina Kaif or a Kareena Kapoor to get glamorous roles. Eyes and emotions convey more than body,” she says.
So is baring all the new versatility?
