I’m too busy for Mausam: Kats

Katrina Kaif seems to be dogged by some controversy or the other. First it was the comparisons between her item number Sheila Ki Jawani and Deepika’s item song Dum Maro Dum and now there are reports doing the rounds that the actress was so desperate to work in Pankaj Kapur’s directorial venture Mausam opposite Shahid Kapur that she approached Pankaj herself.

But believe it or not the role finally went to Sonam Kapoor. “It is said that the film has a very strong, woman-oriented subject and Katrina was keen to perform the role,” a source told the newspaper.
Katrina, however rubbishes all these reports. “It is entirely a lie. I am very busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara and Yash Raj’s Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. And I have no time to clarify anything,” she says.
However, friends of the actress say that Katrina is at the peak of her career and is currently in a position to pick roles of her choice. “She never lobbied for the role in Mausam. Such rumours are spread by sources with vested interests. She is busy with her films and endorsements,” a close friend said.
