Imran’s shy of the M&B tag
The media has been abuzz with stories of Imran Khan becoming the face of a Mills and Boon series based on his ready-to-release I Hate Luv Storys. But a shy Imran admits that being cast as the hero in the well-known romance series is embarrassing for him. “My friends have started teasing me about it. I have only seen my mother and friends in college reading Mills and Boon books, and it’s a little embarrassing to be a part of those same books,” the heartthrob confides.
The actor also admitted that he has never read a Mills and Boons title himself. “Guys don’t read Mills and Boons. In college, for me, it was Debonair magazine and cars and gadgets,” he reveals.
Despite Imran’s reluctance, I Hate Luv Storys producer Karan Johar says, “Imran represents the quintessential Mills and Boon romantic lead, because of his character in the film. He’s a complete Casanova.”
