Imran, Deepika take a break

Our Bollywood stars may be working round the clock, but some of them know how to make time for friends. When actress Shruti Sheth got married to her long time boyfriend Danish Aslam, director of the Imran Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Break Ke Baad last weekend in Goa, Imran and Deepika both took time out from their busy schedule to attend the wedding. Imran Khan who has been shooting in Pataudi for Yash Raj Films Mere Brother Ki Dulhan took a break from the shooting of the film to be there for the three-day long function.
The couple who met on the sets of Fanaa, where Danish was an assistant director and Sheth played the role of Kajol’s friend, fell in love immediately. After dating for nearly four years, the couple tied the knot in. The wedding celebrations started on Thursday with a sangeet, followed by the wedding on Friday and a reception on Saturday. The entire unit of the film Break Ke Baad attended and so did a few of their close friends from the film and TV fraternity.
Our source said, “Imran is extremely close to Danish so he requested Aditya Chopra to give him a break for three days. Adi agreed and shot some portions with Katrina and the rest of the cast in Imran’s absence. Deepika meanwhile, had a series of meetings lined up which she cancelled to attend the wedding. Kunal Kohli, producer of Break Ke Baad and Danish’s close friend was present too.”
