IPL a lucky charm?

Almost every actor, director and producer worth their penny would want to refrain from releasing their films during the IPL tournament for the fear of cricket frenzy eating into their box office collections. But not Emraan Hashmi.
He is perhaps the only actor who considers the IPL a lucky charm, courtesy the super success of Jannat when it was released right in the middle of the tournament. So no wonder Emraan is happy that the sequel of Jannat is slated to arrive during the same period. “He is sure that the franchise will work for him, because he feels IPL is lucky for him,” says a source. A trade guru says, “Just as Salman, Aamir and SRK have dominated the Id, Christmas and Diwali seasons, Emraan has his eyes on the IPL, which is no less a festival in this country.
Let's see if he manages to hit a sixer for the second time.
