Is Irrfan getting tired of waiting?

While the powerhouse combination of Irrfan Khan and Tigmanshu Dhulia seem to have struck all the right notes in Paan Singh Tomar, the same cannot be said about a few other projects that the two have been planning since quite some time. Jai Ramji is one such project that has had several roadblocks right from the time it was announced.
The film that also stars Arjun Rampal, first got postponed because he wanted to finish Ra.One. But even after Ra.One’s release the project couldn’t gather enough steam.
And now it looks like Irrfan has to wait for a really long time before Jai Ramji materialises, as according to sources, Tigmanshu has just confirmed that he will begin work on the film only after the sequel of Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster is out of the way.
“I had dates available but things didn’t work out then. There’s dependency on other actors as well. This film always falls short of being made. Even I am waiting, let’s see how Tigmanshu shapes up the project now.” The tone of exasperation couldn’t be missed.
