Irrfan Khan in the mood for love
Irrfan Khan is definitely a personality to be reckoned with: his latest release Knock Out has managed to bring success to his doorstep, while his next film Yeh Saali Zindagi, by ace director Sudhir Mishra saw the dawn amidst a huge gathering.
Working with Sudhir Mishra for the first time Irrfan tells us, “You guys will find his film contemporary yet meaningful. This film is a commercial thriller in totality. Finally Sudhir has turned commercial.”
The film represents a love story of two kinds, he tells us. “Mine and Chitrangada’s is slightly complicated and the other couple’s love story is a simple one,” says Irrfan.
On the subject of doing love stories at this stage of his career he adds, “In Knock Out too, I had a gala time romancing different ladies. Also, here I romance Chitrangada dangerously. I feel without love there is no life. Life and romance both go hand in hand.”
So it seems that while most men turn naughty at 40, with Irrfan it is the opposite: at 40 he is turning romantic.
