It’s B’wood vs politics

This is one battle we wouldn’t want to miss: Our favourite Bollywood heroes versus members of Parliament. After wrapping up a high profile season of his Celebrity Cricket League, Salman Khan has charmed several MPs into playing a match against his team, the Mumbai Heroes.

“Salman has made CCL all about the spectacle, and he thought having a match where Bollywood actors would be pitted against politicians would make for great drama, great viewing. The wheels were set in motion, and the result is this friendly match that will be taking place at the end of this month in Dharamshala,” said a source close to the Mumbai Heroes team.
But while they have the Dabangg Khan in their midst, the battle against the politicos isn’t likely to be an easy names with Mohammad Azharuddin, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Sachin Pilot, Milind Deora, Dushyant Singh and Rajiv Shukla among those on the opposing team. In fact, the MPs have previously played two matches against members from Britain’s parliament and a team comprising professionals from Indian media groups. The match is scheduled for April 27 in Dharamshala. Will Salman be able to vanquish the competition off the pitch?
