It’s Bachchan all the way for Manoj

Looks like all of the Big B’s good karma has come home to roost. A few days after Amitabh Bachchan went to town, talking about just how great it was working with young stars Deepika Padukone and Prateik Babbar, it now seems that it’s the Big B’s turn to get praised. The buzz was that tensions had heated up between Amitji and his on-screen nemesis in Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan, Manoj Bajpayee. But Manoj has now gone on record to say that in fact, the rivalry was nothing but a rumour. Manoj says, “I just love working with Amitji … I don’t understand why people want to pitch us against each other. But I will always work with him and not against him.”
That’s okay Manoj, we don’t understand it either. After all, the Big B is in a league entirely his own, so what rivalry could possibly exist? But as long as Bollywood’s turning into a mutual admiration society, who are we to complain?
