It’s John over Sallu

A while ago there was a buzz that Bodyguard director Siddiqui was on the look out for an apt script to offer Salman Khan for their next venture. The latter, who introduced Siddiqui to Hindi films, was playing his mentor to the hilt, despite his choc-a-bloc schedule.
But the latest update is that the south director has stepped out of Salman’s shadow and has gone ahead and signed John Abraham for his upcoming film. “John officially signed the film a few days ago. The shooting of this film will begin end of this year,” confirms sources close to John.
In an industry where equations between stars are more unpredictable than the weather, one wonders what prompted Siddiqui to take John on board and not wait for Salman. It’s a known fact that Salman and John are not exactly best friends. Known to be one of the most unforgiving people in the industry, we wonder if Salman will forgive Siddiqui for moving out of his camp?
