Vidya Balan has found herself at the crossroads yet again, with her own film Kahaani set to clash with beau Siddharth Roy Kapoor’s Paan Singh Tomar. The D-day, March 9, wasn’t the original choice for either film, but as fate would have it, Vidya has to go through this unsettling twist of fate.
A source close to the two says, “Matters of the heart can’t really stop Siddharth from going ahead with the company’s plans and releasing his film on the said date. But he will obviously not allow this development to change his equation with Vidya in any way.”
It may be mentioned here, that Paan Singh Tomar, which features an unconventional pairing of Irrfan Khan and Mahie Gill, has already been delayed by two years.
And now that the makers are finally finding March 9 to be the most lucrative of all dates, there seems to be little chance of going back on their decision.
Sources close to the actress say that she is not too happy with the way things have turned out in this case. But then, she can always try charming her beau into changing his mind.
