It’s Saif vs Ajay now
Saif Ali Khan may be partying in the Swiss Alps right now, but on the work front his list of worries doesn’t seem to end. The release of his ambitious production Agent Vinod has been pushed yet again to March 2012 — now the film threatens to clash with Ajay Devgn’s much-awaited Tezz.
Incidentally the release dates of both the films have been shuffled quite a few times in the past and on more than one occasion a clash between the two seemed inevitable. A source says, “Both the films are mega-budget ventures and a clash between the two might not be a very good idea from the trade perspective. Also, both are action films, and even the audience wouldn’t want to choose between the two.”
Currently, both parties seem unwilling to compromise. Ratan Jain, producer of Tezz, had said earlier, “Our film has to arrive by the end of March.” Kareena Kapoor, who plays the leading lady in Agent Vinod vouches for her film, saying, “Saif and Sriram (the film’s director) have given their all to the film. It’s the biggest film of our careers. It’s special for all of us.”
With both parties unwilling to budge, we can only wait and watch to see who is the first one to blink.
