‘It would hurt Kakaji’s soul’

The late Rajesh Khanna’s lady love Anita Advani, who reportedly had a long-standing live-in relationship with the megastar at his Bandra bungalow Aashirwad, is visibly upset, after hearing the buzz about the bungalow being renamed Vardaan. And she is being very vocal about it.

“If the rumours are true, it would hurt Kakaji’s (Rajesh Khanna’s) soul,” says Anita, adding, “It was a name suggested by his father.” The star who had shared much of his personal stories with Advani had said that his father had foreseen his son’s stardom and told him that his fan mail would be addressed to Rajesh Khanna, Aashirwad. “In a way, it meant that they would bless him every time they wrote to him. It is such a beautiful thought,” she adds.
