Jackie denies any rift between her and Sajids
From her high profile break-up with director beau Sajid Khan to bagging a leading role in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick, opposite Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez has been making news of late. And when the two Sajids had a spat a little while ago (leading to Khan’s ouster from the Housefull franchise, of which Nadiadwala is producer) what got tongues wagging was the perception that Jackie chose to give precedence to her role in Kick, rather than her three-year relationship. Then there was the persistent gossip that she used her connection with Khan to get work in Bollywood: While top-notch actresses like Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone had been waiting to be cast opposite Salman, it was Jackie who got the part.
But Jackie has been dealing with all the talk with equanimity. Having seemingly dealt with her warring priorities, Jackie says there is no bad blood between her or the two Sajids. “We’re all fine with each other. There is no bad blood between us,” she said, referring to her break-up with Sajid Khan.
The actress also denied the allegation that she had triggered off the ego clash between Khan and Nadiadwala, asserting once again, “All I can tell you is that all’s well.”
