John and Nagesh work for free!
In an industry that is defined as fast-paced and cut-throat, some incidents really touch your heart. One such heart-warming story comes from the actor-director duo of Aashayein.
The buzz is that John Abraham and Nagesh Kukunoor did not charge any fee for Aashayein. They did not charge a single penny for the film because they truly believed in the concept of the film and had complete faith in it.
John and Nagesh were so engaged by the film’s story that they felt this movie is beyond money. Says a source, from the sets of Aashayein, “John and Nagesh felt this movie is beyond economics. This film, according to them is about something much deeper. It is about hope.”
It is basically about good intent. The story was such that they wanted to narrate it to the audiences. The source adds, “The film’s story is very positive and John and Nagesh were confident about it. Even when it got delayed, they believed in it and never lost hope.” The duo feel their gesture has been completely worth it.
As reported earlier, the filming of Aashayein had a deep impact on John and changed his thinking completely. It made him view life in a different light.
Aashayein is the story of a compulsive gambler, Rahul Singh, played by John Abraham who discovers a new meaning to fortune and life through a dramatic turn of events. Aashayein releases on the 27th of August.
