John opens up on marital matters

Seems like the wedding season is on in full swing. The year has been full of B’town couples tying the knot. After Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D’souza, Esha Deol-Bharat Takhtani and Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan, looks like stud boy John Abraham could be next in row to take vows of holy matrimony.

When quizzed about his own marriage, a rather candid John said, “I believe in the institution of marriage. I don’t want to shy away from it. I would definitely like to take the plunge but I just want to make sure the time is right. It’s going to be a while before I do so.”
The actor has been in a relationship with his banker girlfriend Priya Runchal for over two years now. Despite the seriousness of it, the duo has avoided questions about their D-day. But the latest development from what we hear, is that the wedding bells might ring early next year after all.
“The thought of settling down doesn’t scare John anymore. He is confident about making this relationship work and that’s why he is not evading questions related to his wedding anymore,” says a source close to the actor.
