John in a very full house

While the actors for Housefull 2 have remained largely the same as the ones who featured in the original, John Abraham has been an addition. And given the success that was the pairing of John and Akshay in Desi Boyz, the bromance looks like it will continue with Housefull 2 as well.
“John and Akshay were happy to get a double bill of Desi Boyz and Housefull 2. And while the two films have released back to back, they have radically different styles of filmmaking,” says a friend of John’s.
Also, while Desi Boyz had just John and Akki, Housefull 2 will feature quite an ensemble cast with actors from various different eras and times. “Actually, it’s very different from the ‘bromance’ of Desi Boyz,” he says. “Even I have shocked myself by adapting to the world Sajid has created here. It’s unlike anything I have done before and to follow up a film like Desi Boyz with Housefull 2 makes me very fortunate.”
