Kalki jumps into lake for a stunt

Kalki Koechlin had the time of her life recently. The actress performed a dangerous stunt for the first time in her career. Kalki was shooting for Emotional Atyachaar opposite Ranvir Shorey in Goa where her role required her to jump off a bridge from a height of over 100 feet into a lake.
A unit source revealed, “Sensing the danger involved in shooting the scene, the director asked to call for a body double. But an excited Kalki refused to listen to his suggestion, insisting that she would perform the stunt herself. Umpteen reasons to get her to change her mind proved futile. Ultimately, the filmmaker had no choice but to relent.”
Kalki jumped into the lake with finesse and impressed unitwallahs. “The director was flummoxed and at the same time impressed to see a delicate Kalki perform this daredevil act,” said our source.
